A Hint to Discovering Your Dreams
This is actually something form the intuition session with Ken and Lynn (thanks for reading my blog, Lynn!), but it’s quite an interesting exercise. Ask yourself this question:
You walk into a room with 30 people who have been waiting for you. What do you do for them?
My answer is that I would first style all of them, and teach them all I know about style!
This question will usually lead you to a person’s dreams, or lifework if they’re somewhere down a career that they love.
Some said they would give those 30 people a massage. Some would refinance all their mortgages. Others entertained them.
What did you do for those 30 people?

I didn’t really understand the question. I thought this was like…a surprise birthday party. I mean, why else would 30 people wait for you? lol.
I guess I would do a little number for them. If I imagine 30 people waiting for ME, and it’s not my birthday, then it’s probably at a small venue. Yup!
I entertained them and made them laugh! =-o
Raamenchan, this is so simple yet so true!

See? I was surprised at how effective the question was as well!
I would smile, say hi, and just talk to them, see how they’re doing … hopefully get everyone talking with one another. Then I’d just listen
What that means as to what my dream is, I have no clue, but who says I need to understand my dreams! As long as I have one, that seems good enough.
Sorry to ramble. Just thought I’d share!
Cheers
Wow. That question made me feel like I was going in for an interview or something. Not so pleasant. So my answer was totally to just talk to them. I also thought about doing a weird little dance just for the heck of it. My dreams are awesome! Whatever they are… Hahaha
I would like to draw on the wall for them~ Thx for this great post and method!
@Bobbak
Rambling? Not at all! Glad you dropped by!
I suppose it could make you a good coordinator of sorts. You say you don’t have the energy for working with tons of people, but this says otherwise =D
Though I guess the difference is that you’ll get them to talk amongst themselves.
But hey, I think listening is just as important, if not more than talking.
And you’re probably right. As long as you have a dream, whether you understand it or not, it’s a good thing^^
@Ah Mui
Hahaha, your mind is full of the job hunt right now it seems. Interviews should be fun, though! I read that they’re more like dating than tests or presentations, for that matter. They’re there simply to see if you and your boss will actually get along together. And there’s not use faking it to success, because then you’ll just be miserable once you actually start working!
And yeah, those are some awesome dreams! I have no idea what they mean, but like Bobbak said, it’s probably just good enough to have them =D
@Penter
Good to hear from you!
You know, I would love to have you draw on my wall for me =D
No one I know would ever offer to do something like that, and I would most definitely welcome someone to make my walls more exciting!
You’re on to something good. I love your creativity!
