mind.Depositor 2 and My Workspace
* Sixty six more days to make my dreams come true!
I finished making my mind.Depositor right before I went to Hong Kong, but I realized that I haven’t actually shown any photos of the finished product. I thought now might be a good time because I just finished printing out a stack of the special black and white mind.Depositor index cards that Patrick made for me!

These are the blank postcards that I bought to print out the mind.Depositor index cards that Patrick designed.

And here they are in GTD action! Each color represents a different category so they're easy to sort through.
My Workspace
This is where I work at my new apartment in Japan. I searched long and hard online for cheap yet functional items I could use to set up a GTD workspace. I’m pretty happy with the result!

Here is my GTD general reference file in action. I love it because now I ALWAYS have somewhere to put things. It makes life a lot easier.

Here is the GTD tickler file, which reminds me every day of things I need to remember. I can put books and forms in as well, so that they're all ready for me to work on right away. And on top of the cabinet is the amazingly useful automatic labeler.

And this is my "dream board," where I post reminders to keep me on track towards my dreams (among some other items).
And now that I have all my tools, it’s time to get back to work.

Looks nice! My desk is a mess! haha…
I still need to assemble the desk but I found out that I’m missing the middle part that connects the main parts. The metal thing with the holes in them. I might just get a whole new desk..=/
Thanks! Although I think I have to give you mad props for even being able to work in that environment. It’s probably just me, but I can’t think straight when there’s a mess around.
Hmm though, it’s not like that center piece is something that can disappear easily… I wonder what happened to it? Personally though, I didn’t like that desk (even though I chose to buy it in the first place). It looks messy even when you use the storage space (but again, it’s just me about the looking messy part).
Hey man things are looking pretty good I take it? lemme know if you ever need help with anything photowise
Nathan! Long time no see! You dropped by at the right time, I’m in need of a photography expert =D
So organized!
So neat!
I should follow suit!
@Guinevere
You should! Well, if it bothers you, at least! I can’t concentrate properly with a mess, so I have to keep it that way. I read in Getting Things Done that one reason we stress out about things is because we break promises to ourselves.
Let’s say someone asks you to help them pick something up at the store for them one day, but you forget. It’s not a life changing situation, but you feel guilty, right?
It’s actually the same thing with saying to yourself “I’m going to clean this room up tomorrow,” and then you don’t. It’s easier to make excuses to yourself, but there’s always a part inside of you that isn’t happy, because you can’t even trust yourself!
It’s a great feeling to be a person you yourself can trust =D
